HAVE TIME TO HELP US??
We are always willing to accept volunteers help with the planning and execution of our 2 day event. There are opportunities to lead a subcommittee, join a subcommittee, take on a project, or, just help for a day.Â
As a volunteer you will receive a free event T-Shirt*, be fed, and hydrated.
We have a monthly organizer meeting for volunteers for a few months before the event each year.  The meeting is not required, but a lot of our volunteers do come each month.
Below are some examples of needs the day of the event where volunteers can help:
- Front Gate Registration – ensuring that all participants and spectators sign the entry waivers and receive bracelets. Control and direct traffic at the front gate.Â
- Security – helping, directing, controlling and coordinating people and spectator cars. Grounds and Field Setup – setting up barricades, temporary fencing, demarcation, trash receptacles, etc.Â
- Pit/Grid Marshals – manage the traffic in the pit area, help with the staging of the cars, release the cars as directed, etc.Â
Volunteers need to register before the event and are expected to commit to performing the duties that they volunteer for. The event depends on volunteers and on their participation.
